most seem to miss the point...syth.. is very slick which tends to make a leak worse but to it's properties.....all for gaskets and syth, yes years ago they didn't work together but gaskets today seal much better and work great with syth oil

synthetic will get through a worn seal/gasket quicker than conventional, but in the case that all gaskets are new, and properly seated there still wont be any leaks. and as for 20w50 being a bad street oil, i disagree, when i wake up in the mornings and its 90° outside and well over 100° high for the day all summer long 20w50 is better at protecting my motor, i dont recomend it for anyone in any weather cooler than this as it will cause high oil pressure and can cause a spun bearing.
