help after 5 lug conversion...
after i did my rear end 5 lug conversion( still didnt do the front yet) i bled the brakes really good and got all teh air out and now the pedal still feels really mushy... and also when i go to take off.. it doenst feel like it has as much power as my 89 rear end... and the rotor is getting eaten up like there is a big *** long in the rotor ...

Did you remove the residual check valve? It keeps pressure on the rear drums at all times but you don't need it because it will apply the rear brakes slightly even when you don't press the pedal.

RE: help after 5 lug conversion...
what conversion did you do?? disc or drum?? im assuming that you went disc b/cause with the drum setup you wouldnt have needed to bleed the brakes. also, if you did go disc then youre going to have to do the 2port master cylinder swap/conversion in order to get a firm pedal. i have seen some people get away with just adding steel braided brake hoses but in order to get it right you want to do the 2port conversion. hope this helps.
