Whats claimed and what actually occur are 2 different things. The Cobra intake definately flows better than the stock, and as more mods are made i.e. heads, cam. exhaust you'll realize even more gains. But 30 hp off the bat is unrealistic on a stock motor just changing to the cobra intake.
