Default seafoam...how to use?

I bought some seafoam today, and read the instructions on the can, but it differs a bit from what i read on here.

i couldn't find the thread about it but this is what i remember:

take off brake booster line (where is it?)

submerge it into can and start up motor.

let it suck up half the can at 2k rpms.

shut off for 5 minutes

restart and let it idle until it stops smoking

poor the rest in the gas tank

change oil.

does that sound about right?

thanks all!

pour half a can in the oil right before an oil change and the other half you pour into the tb hole where the vent tube is

Almost, it's a two person job. What I did is poured the Seafoam into the tube that goes from the passenger side valve cover to the throttle body. So I disconnected that tube from the valve cover so when I turned the car it sucked it into the side of the throttle body while my dad sat inside the car and gave it gas so it wouldn't die.

sounds about right. I let my car sit for a half hour. Poured half of the remainder in the crankase and other half in gas tank. Drove around until smoke cleared (about 10-15 min), and then changed oil. The vacuum line 3rd will clean the intake passages and tops of valves. the crankcase 3rd will clean lifters, and the gas tank 3rd will clean injectors. Worked pretty good especially on a noisy lifter.

Here's the procedure from the Seafoam site; http://www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm

Sort of a combination of all of the above posts. The brake booster line refers to the large vacuum line that runs from the intake to the vacuum booster that sits behind your brake master cylinder on the fire wall.
