rattling when accelerating

i looked at it and nothing seems to really be close to touching it was especially bad today seems like the car needs to get pretty warm before it starts cuz when i first got in today it wasnt shaking at all.

Ok. Another possibility is motor mounts. Unfortunately there is such a long list of things it could be....

if it were the motor mounts...why would it do it only when car is warmed up.

Just humor me and see what your timing is set at... I bet it's a little high... just loosen the dizzy hold down bolt and rotate it counter clockwise a bit. Then go out for test a drive and I'll bet your problem is solved.

I think it worked thanks so much man so what was the noise just the pistons hitting? why wouldnt it make sound unless moving?
