Default Car Wont START

Left my 88 5.0 for three weeks while i went to work. Started right up when i got home. Then i left it overnight and now it wont start. Turns over but doesnt fire.

Thought i might have ran it out of fuel so i put half a tank in it from a jerry can. Turn the key a few times to let the fuel pump prime and still nothing. Almost killed the battery turning it over. Checked the distributor and coil and all the wires, no visible problems. The only thing i can think is that the temperature got down to about freezing and maybe that's affecting it.

Help! I've never had this problem!

have you checked to see if there is spark at the coil?
if there is spark at the coil, check if distributor is sending spark to spark plugs
