All my friends have (mustang fevor) they all want a fox body. its so crazy, but cool at the same time because we are taking over the town..this car is a '90 GT its stock besides the Paxton supercharger w/ 8 lb of boost, 24# injectors, 6 point custom cage, eibach 2 inch lowering springs, Koni adjustable shocks and struts, Mac equal length headers, Flowmaster 3 chamber, Hurst short throw shifter, 3.27 gears,and chrome ponies. Just needs a little T.L.C. here an there, and already needs new tires only after a week. I think he learned real quick about how fast tires will go, because of his lead foot...

with stock internals runnin 8 pounds of boost, i doubt that's going to hold up, i think most guys run like 5 or 6 pounds on stock internals. That's a pretty sweet fox though.

That thing is sweet!!!. I wish I had friends that had mustangs, so we could like beat every pos ricer around here. Well for one my brother has a 1991 Ford Mustang GT but he dosent race. I got another friend with a 1989 Mustang GT, but I dont really see him out that much. But that thing is so cool.

I've heard of people running 8lbs of boost on a stock engine, I think that's the max you would want to though.

I think that the ricer fad maybe winding down. Thank God. I've been around the auto hobby for a long time and fads come and go.
I remember stuff like the VW's of the late 60's, then it was V-8 Vega and Pinto swaps, then it was 4WD trucks. Oh, forgot the vans, senior moment.One thing has always seemed to be a staple thru all this, the V-8 powered, mass produced cars.
The ricers have finally got it figured out that they can go faster cheaper, I don't know of any car that can be bought cheaper than a 5.0 car that will be any quicker......

Edit: even though i like damn near every 5.0 just for that reason. we're a special breed. theres a comorodity between us(most of us anyway)

Man i hope your right about the ricers.....their is so many of them around here, but when they see us (The Hoofbeats) they drive all slow with their windows up so you can't see them. Its funny the stuff we do to them. I don't mind the nice looking ones, you know with without the ugly *** body kits. It look like they went down evey isle at Pep Boys and grabbed one of everything, and slapped it on their car without careing what it look like.
