Today my car suddenly started running funny like it sounds like normal it just takes forever to accel. and it shifts late but i just got a new transmission!!

you have an automatic? are the rpm's higher than usual for the speed your going? do you think its slipping?

your tv line might be out of adjustment....

yeah, check the kickdown (throttle detent) cable on the throttle body. a guy i know had the bushing go on the detent cable on his 88 lincoln 5.0. no one could tell what was wrong, but it would just sit there and race. i put in a new bushing and that was it. even my uncle, who has 4 stangs now and has been a mech for about 20 years, couldnt figure it out.

yeh my kick down wasnt working. When i changed my intake manfolds i forgot to tighten the bolt on the trottle cabel mount. Well one bolt came out, and i didnt have no kickdown, it was funny.

I think a cylinder is out befcause that all seems fine it is just weak!! I put it in 1 and tryed to run the rpm's up high and it was unusually slow climbing it just takes a long time to get up and get moving.. I checked all my plugs out and they looked fine to me.. I am lossing hope what should i do?

you might be running out of fuel. change the fuel filter. if that doesn't do it you might need a new pump.

what is your timing set at? is your spout connector in?

Some of that is going over my head I dont have a timing light so i have no idea what iuts set at i just replaced the fuel pump and i did run low on gas the other day so my filter might be clogged i will check tom.

yeh, or put a scanner up to the ECU and see what codes you have.
