Default Cold start issues

I have a 94 mustang gt 5 speed convertible, whenever I let it sit for about 8-12 hours and start her up she idled about 800 then jumps to 1500 and my check engine light flashes about four times and my idle stays normal.

The check engine flashing is a weird symptom. Don't assume anything yet.. Run codes and report back.

Check engine light flashing usually indicates a misfire was detected. I agree with mattdel, find out what code has been thrown.

Theoretically if there was a misfire on a piston then why would it rev up? yeah it sounds smart to say to make up for that cylinders loss but your computer is too smart for that and does just enough not to feel it, but alright which one should I run koeo? or on? and cylinder test to? about time you commented on her matt thought you were mad at me

All of 'em. Record the code numbers specific to the test, though, as they mean different things. A 123 code in KOER is a different code than 123 KOEO.

I took it to my buds shop, and he said there was play in the u joints, my rear upper control arms were going out, and my clutch felt weak so we searched and found an aftermarket adjuster so I'm happy about that, but he's going to scan it check fuel pressure in the morning if I figure it out ill let everyone know the issue.

alright guys I just got it back from the mechanic, and he said he cleaned my maf, singled out each injector and cleaned them, replaced my wire in my right side bank 02 sensor and I had a vacuum hose going from my intake to a canister than to my fuel tank it was apparently blocked off and "appalachion engineered" to say the least.. so I got a valve ordered for it and its going on tomorrow right now she's idling gorgeously at 600
