Shift Kit & AOD
shift kits are for an automatic. they firm up the shifts and delay them too.
aod is a ford tranny and it stands for automatic overdrive. its a 4 speed and is pretty weak in stock form.
a common problem is burning up the stock o/d band by applying throttle while in o/d.
however they can be built up to handle 600 plus hp quite easily.
i have one myself.

its the VB that came out of my strip/street GER AOD. it was replaced with a lentech manual vb
im only asking 40 bucks for it.
drop pan, remove the 21 bolts or so and then install this one. replace gasket and off you go
