I have the B&M shifter, but thats because it came on my car. Ive heard great things about the Pro 5.0 and Steeda Tri Axe so if I was going to buy one new I would probably go for one of those.

cmon, man we talked this over. hurst IS the only name in shifters. they only make shifter, everyone else makes everything, and dont specialize in shifters. plus- 50+ years. only HURST.

Pro 5.0. ALL THE WAY !!! i drove a B&M. didnt like it. heard good things about Steeda's, but havent driven one...all i know is my friend broke one in his LX 5.0, so, thats why im not gonna get a Tri-Ax. Hurst......never driven one......know people who had one, then, switched to either a B&M or a Pro 5.0 and said they were better....idk. im just saying what ive heard. my Pro 5.0........its great. firm shifts. precise. you DO NOT miss 3rd when youre slamming gears. its great. plus, hearing the shifter hit the stops is SO reassuring. i say Pro 5.0, unless u already have one and just wondering what everybody else is running

Anyone tried this for an auto?
The ergonomically-minded Hammer has been designed to fit the stock factory full console for 1982-2000 Mustangs with the AOD & AODE transmission! It has a full ratchet action mechanism for positive upshifts and downshifts. When shifting the Mustang Hammer from neutral or reverse to park positions, just lift the trigger and ratchet the shifter forward for each position. The unique Hammer Head handle comfortably fits small to large hands. Factory cables are utilized to retain the factory interlock mechanisms.

IM gonna bye a HURST its just toooo coool. And plus the New billit pluss sst shifter looks like a hot setup. mabie its just a pre-86mustang thing ha my dad has a pro-5.0 in his cobra ill tell you guys how the billit plus sst shifter compars
