Default 90mm MAF

Does anybody know what it takes to run a 90mm MAF on one of the 5.0 cars? Ive been looking at these 3:

Ford Racing M-12579-L54

SCT SCL-BA-2600

Granatelli 467-900304

I know the SCT maf requires an adapter, i just didnt know if i can use the same adapter w the other two.

sct will require a base tune so the car will run, meaning a chip, usually a place that does such, like krugan motorsports will send you a base mail order for the BA series mafs so the car will run then you can drive it to a tuner for fianl tune

I want to learn how to do all the tuning myself. What about the FRPP and Granatelli units?

I got a 83mm pro-m with a filter and the black tube that goes with it if you a looking for a used one but you will have to get it curved for your injectors. unless you are gone to run 83# injectors. mjr86 has seen it. you can send it back and have the electronic swapped so you don't have to run the adapter. It is the aluminum hosing one nice part really.

the only ones I know about are the sct's so I can't comment on the others but a lot of power adder guys use the BA series mafs and have good results, it all depends on the tuner you will use as well

I didn't know if I would be able to calibrate it with the Quarterhorse. I imagine this engine is going to run pretty crappy, not to mention drivable, until I can get the tuning software. I'll contact SCT and see what's up
