My 85 5.0 came with a shift light from the factory that tells you when to shift for best fuel economy. I has never worked since i have had the car. Where can i look to fix it?How is it wired?

 

let my grandma go for a ride with you.....she'll tell you when to shift(1150 RPM)

 

HAHAHA no i dont shift like a grandma i just wanted to get the light to work so that everything works in the car

 

maby its set to high, did you adjust the dial so it comes on at so many rpms, mine is like 6k or 6,500 i cant rember so i dont see it to much.

 

also i forgot is the light bulb good?

 

And i have had my car up to pretty high rpms expecaly when a have been racing and i hav enever seen the light.The shift light is in the dash i didnt know oyu can adjust it.the bulb is fine. I think one of the wire are bad
