Default Rear gears = Done!!!

Just finshed it up boys, ahh man limited slip 3.73 posi. I love it. Made it so much quicker, like its a hole new car. I worked on it for 3 days, 2 hours each day, I had a lift! It takes alot of tools, I put all new bearings and axle seals in it. Took a while, but i did it the right way. Best modification - for the money, without going to deep in your pockets and getting a supercharger or nitrous kit. You just have to know what your doing and you need the right tools. And if your going to replace the ring and pion gear, make sure you go all out, bearings, intallation kit, ect ect,

I was hoping for same results, but I didnt feel a difference.

I acctually was thinking about this yesterday... Could it be my wheel and tire combo? Being such a big wheel and heavy tire.
Because I remembered with the stock tires a long time ago it used to pull alot better.

heavy wheels will slow you down.

if you didnt feel a difference could be for a few reason. 1...you had them already in the car, 2 you got the wrong gears

Yeh put the stockl wheels on and try that. But if you didnt even notice anything, then you put the same gears in it, which and bad because now you have new gears! Same ratio just new gears.

What kind of gears did you put in it that you didnt feel a difference? Theres no tire big enough to make you not feel a difference if you go from stock to 373's or 410's.

I felt a slight difference, but nothing what I expected. I went from stock to the 3.73s on a 18/9.5 wheel. I know there not the same gears because I notice to difference on the freeway, it stays at 2500 RPM at 65 MPH.

My FRPP 3.73s just showed up yesterday ended up being like 187 USD to have them shipped to Saskatchewan with tax and duty and shipping. My red 21 tooth speedo gear was i think 13 USD, but I still want to buy a rear end rebuild kit before I get them installed. Theres quite a bit of km on the orginal gaers so I thought I mise welll. I think Im taking mine to a mechanic to get them put in, I dont know enough to do a rear end sadly haha.
