this is a prime ex. not to do big mods on a engine with alots of miles as the compression rings will not be able to work effiectly with the added cyl pressure due yo wear on them

hold up for a minute..did you put that pcv plate on the lower intake?cause mine never came with one,and never knew until i called edelbrach. my motor has only 5k on it,and did the same thing, and i even did a compression test
my lowest was a 150,and my highest was a 160.

who me?..i know. i was just asking, cause with no plate he is basically sucking oil from the valley. plus you will always get some oil in the edelbrach's intakes, but the throttle body?iv'e never had that problem.

yeah you that;s why you did the test it's good advice...on my s/c car I don't use a pvc for that fact because you intake tract will be nasty will oil residue and will impede flow..

well i know on most s/c set ups they put a breather on the valve cover for that reason to relieve crank case pressure.

ok maybe we can all learn something here, but did you drill one out?i think i need to do it?
don't pcv valves work on low/high vac.,cause at wot i get a little oil blow out the breather's little puffs.
i was told by AFR that i'm floating, cause the springs are to weak for the cam i'm using not because of the lift, butfor my duration at high rpm's..on the dyno it does show a drop off at 5500k.like straight down
