I would check the rear main seal next. Usually the seal, oil pan, or valve covers are the culprits in situations like this

Thats what I'm thinkin. Like I said before, I have oil drippin from the bottom bolts of my transmission bracket. I'm assuming it could be coming from behind my engine and dripping on my tranny then runs on down...

Default had same sit

not only check your rear main seal but also could be coming from the flywheel bolts. I've had this problem and replaced the rear seal, only to have a leak again. so I put sealer on the bolts and waalaa, no leaky oil. good luck.

look at a crank for a 302, bolt holes go all the way through to the otherside........but then again I don't ever have such an issue since I'm not a backyard DIY'ER that is not trained on the minute details......I always loctite them, silicon sealer is not the proper way, loctite is.

Yep I always use Loctite for fly wheel bolts. Why someone wouldn't is beyond me, Id hate to have flywheel bolts backing out , after all ford uses it for a reason... Don't they ?
