I have a T5 now and it is worn out due to more horsepower than it can handle. I was wondering if the tko500 or the T56 whicj one is better for some 3.73 gears for everyday street use. i know for both transmissions i will need to get a new shifter because my steeda tri-ax wont work on those trannys. which transmission do yall like better the TKO 500 or the T56.

 

My buddy runs the tko 500 and it shifts very notchy. The shifts are alot firmer than a t-5. He never misses a gear with it, he is throwing down 470hp at the rear tires and hasnt had a problem with the trans at all. Dont forget you have to buy a new bellhousing to adapt the tko.
