Electrical issues too........
My 92 5.0 hatch is acting up. Got the temp good, car is running fine.......But its always dead or next to dead when I go out to start it. Drove it for an hour two nights ago after replacing the alter, thought I had charged up the bat. Got home, killed it. Last night, lights came on, but car would not even turn over. I have a slow leak somewhere. I have not tested the bat, but am sure it is fine as it is less than a year old. The car has an aftermarket alarm system installed in it, which I have tried to track down but it is installed somwhere inside the interior, and I cannot find it. I WANT to remove the alarm, but can't find it. I am wondering if the alarm could be draining the bat?
If not, where would you start in looking for a drain? I was told check the ground strap, and replace the negative cable to the bat, which I might do soon.
Ideas?

Its not a leak really. Its a parasitic battery drain.
Aftermarket alarms are often the cause for battery drains since they tend to be spliced into wiring harnesses to get power/ground and those splices aren’t that great and some alarms use more power then others. I would start with the alarm. Finding where it is located is anyones guess though. Probably under the dash by the steering column.
Here is good step-by-step instructions on how to track down parasitic battery drains. http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain
Good luck...
