Rotted 89Fox to 88LX- Engine Swap/Wiring Switch
Ok guys, I am the owner of a 89GT fox with a 347 Stroker that makes some nice power and his hooked up and running very well(mass air, GT40 upper). The only problem the is the whole car is rotting very badly.
I just picked up a clean 88LX roller, but the downside is that it has no computer or Harness in the car right now. I have these cars side by side right now in the garage. I have never removed a wiring harness in the engine or the dash.
I am assuming the best bet here is to take the engine harness, computer, and dash harness and switch them over from the 89 GT to the 88LX. Is there anything I need to look out for when doing this. Is there any other connections that will get in my way? I just want to be proactive here before I start ripping away...I do have patience and will take my time with this...just want to learn a little bit more before I do it. Thanks guys.
