Default Do I need subframe connectors?

So I have a 92 gt hardtop and basically my goal is to make it more.... Civilized lol. I love the power and the noise but I don't want that inside. I am planning on new carpet and boom mats for the noise but as for the ride I want to know what the best route is to make the car ride a little nicer. I've read about subframe connectors but I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for. Can someone please shed some light?

Thanks

Believe it or not, putting in some full length sub frame connectors will take a some of the squeaks and rattles your car may have.

As far as making it ride nicer, thats more os a shock strut and spring situation.

Ok thats cool! So basically they give the car a newer feel all around? More tight and controlled?

The only frame connectors to consider are the weld in types.
Yes, they can make a noticeable difference, well worth the cost......

These full length subframe connectors are excellent quality:

Install those, and spend a little time adding some Dynamat here and some padding there.. and you can get rid of most of your noises.

My fox with full length sub frame connectors drives and rides nicer than the 94 gt or my 95 coupe v8 conversion ever did. The frame connectors coupled with the BBk Gripp series upper lower control arms makes hard acceleration feel a lot more stable. I could literally feel the frame flex and the rear end shift on my 94 and 95 cars that had no frame connectors and stock control arms.

My experience with them would prompt me to consider them a must have on any future stangs I buy.

Yes do them, before you have them welded, mock them up and use a wire wheel to remove the paint, rust and undercoating, then spray the area with weldable primer,so the welds are good.

That's that lol

Highly recommend the Maximum Motorsports full length connectors. They definitely stiffen the car up. As for the noise the Boom mat should help. Just finishing installing Dynamat in mine but Im still putting it all back together so I dont know how much difference it will make.
