i could be mistaken but i think the only reason to switch radiators is just to aluminum for lightweightness, especially at a reasonable number like 350 hp

Thats not the only reason!Aluminum dissapates heat better than copper or brass radiators.A 2 core aluminum is the equivelant of a 3 core copper radiator get the picture?I have a 3 core copper on my 331 stroker and in the summer i stay at 170 degrees and thats on the stock waterpump and a 160 T-stat.

I dont think that the electric waterpump is a good idea for the street.Go with either a 2 core aluminum or a 3 core copper both are about the same when it comes to cooling.

a cooler engine has more hp. upgrading your cooling system will give you more power. and it is also lighter. i say go with a new rad instead of the pump

if you could afford it get a new pump that flows decent amount. youll free up power with a electric one. but youll need to power it and that requires running a larger alt. which still runs off the motor. the biggest advantage is less things driven off the crank.
