Oil level indicator

Default Oil level indicator

Does any one know if the threads on the oil pan are pipe thread,or some thing different? My oil level indicator is broke off,and leaking from the plastic. I just want to un screw it and PLUG it!! Any help apprieciated!!!

that sensor is just compresed fit into the fitting. pulls right out. mine just hangs sine my pan doesnt have the provision for it

just drain the oil, remove the clip that holds the eclectical connector on, unscrew the sensor. Then go to parts or local hardeware and match the treads. I do believe they are pipe thread. If you decide to replace it, about $50.00------------Good Luck!!
