Heater Climate Control Cable
So Im going to replace Heater Climate Control Cable....Any tips when doing this... Reason very hard to turn....

I would just pull that cable and see if alittle lube would help, or the door/panel that the cable operated needs some oil lovin.

Cable is probably bound up. If it doenst have just the right turns in it it get hard to turn. Take it out and reroute it into a big loop.

I replaced the one in my '89 years ago. I don't remember any tricks, but I remember it being pretty easy.
+1 on making sure it makes as wide of turns as possible so it doesn't bind up.

I bought a new ford cable from ebay. The new cable is 4 inches shorter? Does that sound right. Did ford redesign it?
Update: cable was for a taurus.....lube the old cable works great..thank for all the info....
