Default 347 v. 351

Is there a technical explanation as to why a 302 that has been stroked to 347 produces more ponies than a stock 351? Shouldn't the larger displacement engine still have more HP? Or are the workings of everything else (carb, intake, cam, heads, headers, etc.) that makes the difference?

Yeah, now lets compare a 347 to 427 based 351...
