i recently reaccuired my 87 gt ttop car back it had caught fire under the hood before i got it and now has a brand new holley carb and edelbrock intake with a five speed it is awsome off the line and 2nd +3rd gear but when i let off of the gas and cruise at a steady speed it seems to be shuddering when i go and push the gas again to accelerate i think it might be the clutch slipping when i am on it and i just cant tell but when i ease on it is more obvious do yall think that this is my problem has this happened to anyone else help please this is aggravating i have to drive this car while i take apart my 91 vert for a t-5 conversion

no 1987 gt hatch w/t-tops i sold it to a friend it was just painted he let the hood fly up it had a new clutch he burnt it up, and blew up theand spun a main bearing i gave him a 5.0 out of a 94 gt that i parted and now i am having this problem and then he got a 01 gt auto and gave me back the car it did not do this when i sold it to him
