too many issues to list.

Well besides the fact that my new engine doesn't pull; as hard as i thought it would, now I am getting issues after issues. Battery seemed dead the other day and so it took a boost and went fine battery gauge read normal so i figured alt charged battery back up so i turn off and get gas and bang i got nothing click click. my post and terminals weren't the best so i changed the battery for brand new one new pos cable new solind and last new neg from battery to block and it finally rolled over with lots of juice but in the middle of rolling over it stops and int light is dim like i got no juice lol so i leave it 20 seconds and it fires up finally but now when the rpm is revved up in neteral or under load past like 3000 the car wants to fall on it's face and then check engine and air bag lights come on??? if i putt along without reving it up it doesn't do this any ideas?


Also besides that new issue I just changed my clutch fan as i wait for my elec fan and after doing so the car is dead power locks/windows all don't work hell nothing has changed so beats me as new battery/pos/neg cables/new solind etc. U name it since i changed this engine i've had nothing but issue after issue.

take off your ignition module and get it checked at a parts store.
but check your timing first, there might have been an overload,
after I put my new engine in, when it was hot and I start it, it was like the battery was dead, turns out my starter was pulling more than 600 amps, put a powermaster one in and all is good.
the funny thing is the powermaster one was cheaper than a stock one for a 93.

i'll have to check somethings, as of right now it's dead lol like i open the damn door and the check engine and oil lights on and theres no damn keys in the car.

doesn't surprize me tho having the worst luck ever i had this stang like 4 years now and never really had any major issues at all until i swapped engines to this 306. this engine worked kick *** tho in my buddys car but so far issue after issue.

i can't take it anymore man like time is 1 thing but $$$ i have spent on this is getting pretty bad wow..

the car is dead power locks/windows all don't work hell nothing has changed so beats me as new battery/pos/neg cables/new Solenoid etc. U name it since i changed this engine i've had nothing but issue after issue.

Brand new battery/ new pos/neg cables to block and to Solenoid and new Solenoid and car has nothing for power. When door is opened with no keys in car dash shows check engine/air bag/check oil with no keys, same with power door locks and windows tryed. my battery has lots of juice and when trying to hook booster cables up same results hell my windows stuck down.

Please help possible IGN module or computer? any ideas and where are these Located.

ignition module is on your distributor, rectangular grey thing, about 3 inches long by 1 inch high.

the computer is behind the passenger kick panel.

well thats funny then as that module i replaced afew weeks back. car died before and turned out if i let it sit and cool down it would start and even keep a idle for afew mins then it would die i changed the module on the dizzy and it fixed that issue.


now car has no power new battery/pos/neg cables and also solidnoid was changed and no go. dead no power at all no keys in car and when door open the check engine/oil/air bag lights come on same when power windows/door locks tryed.

any ideas

mabye your starter is worn out, I dont know about the warning lights coming on though.

check all your fuses

maybe someone could run a code scan on your car. Electrical problems are a pain,cause you can never physically SEE the problem. Maybe some could help in the 1982-1993 Mustang Registery. Just list yor problem after you register ,its all FREE!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!!!
