Default misfire problem

Hello!! Ok here is what is happening. I was driving my car home from work and it started to miss fire. I got home and opened the hood. I took my test light and started to cancel cylinders. 1 cylinder didnt make a difference (didnt make it rougher). I checked for spark at that cylinder and I have spark. So I then did a compression test and got 135psi which is within specs with the other cylinders (5 psi off). So with that in mind I am thinking I must have a fuel delivery issue. I took my upper manifold off and my lower. I took off the valve cover and cranked the engine over by hand. The intake and exhaust valves are opening and closing. So that leaves me with the injector. Injectors are 19lb injectors.
Please answer these questions.

1) What do I do to check out the injector?
2) What do I do to test the injector?
3) What else can cause this?
4) What else should I check?

Also if you have time. I have taken this chance to remove my heads and port and polish them and install my eldlebrock upper and lower manifolds(rpms) with 1.7 RRs and 70mm throttle body. Should I buy different injectors?? If so what psi?

Thanks for your time!!!!!

you know it is usually the small things people overlook that is the problem.

did you check to make sure all your spark plug wires were on good?
my truck had the same symptoms you described, turns out one of the plug wires came loose from the distributor.
before you ripped it apart, did you take out the spark plugs, clean them and re-gap them?

did you look at the condition of your distributor cap and rotor?

without checking these first you may as well just get a whole new engine.
because you will put all these new parts back on and it will still run like shi t and you will give up and sell it.
then someone who knows what they are doing will find the problem in 5 minutes and fix it for 50 bux. wont you be pissed then.

did you try cleaning your maf?
sometimes oil from the filter gets on the elements and causes it to run rough.

sorry to sound mean, but next time you make a post dont make the title "please read".
your problem is your engine is missing, so try "engine missing, need help" as a title.
most people wont even read this because it says please read.
didn't you read the stickie at the top of the first page for new posters?

Yes I did check to make sure all the little spark plug wires were on all snug and tight. And yes I did pull the plugs and clean them and re gap them. Also I did check my brand new cap and rotor out, and guess what they look brand new, and just for your sake I took my ohm meter and checked the resistance in the wires and rotor!!!! WOW, Sounds to me like you have gotten a new engine from "overlooking" somthing small before. And how do you know I will give up and sell??? Someone that knows what they are doing? Interesting that you couldnt answer MY questions about how to check the injector(s) out. No I didnt try the maf, I dont see why I should because the rest of the engine is running fine! I guess that cancels that one out doesnt it?? But I will keep that in mind when the WHOLE engine is running like sh t and when my CODE reader says it is having issues. Yes you did say some "wierd" things that you wanted to sound mean, and I guess you are one of "those" people that would answer to "Please Read". Also I have been on forums for my VW for the past 3 years and I think I know how to post and I have never had someone tell me what to write in my subject title. Listen kid before you post you should read the as shole stickie at www.youradick.com.
Also before you assume that you know more about somthing than someone else you should try to consider everyone as an equal, and lose the attitude.

If you dont have anything useful, than go away so that people that wont waste my time can help me.

I didnt mean it personally, so chill
to test injectors to see if it opens put 12 volts across the 2 tabs on the plug, you should hear it click.

Very easy way to check the injector. Engine needs to be back together and running. Just like you took the Test Light to check the cylinders you can check each Injector. You don't need the test light at first. Whatever cylinder had no change is most likely the culprit. With the car running unplug the injector and see if there is any change just like you did toi check spark. If there is no change, plug it back in and check to see if you have voltage getting to it. If you do then you most likely have a bad or clogged injector. if you don't then you need to check your PCM and Wire harness to the injectors.

Dude do you like arguing with me? Did you think I made that up? Child, He is a hard working trans tech for Tysons Ford VA. I called him to get myself going in the right direction or special tools like a valve spring compressor or a flatness gauge. I will NOT call him every second I have a question when I can find it out on my own. Why are you asking a question that has nothing to do with the post? This forum is here for people like you to answer questions like mine, if you cant or do not want to answer the question do not post at all. Thanks again.
