Selling the 5.0

Selling the 5.0
Hey guys I've decided to sell the 5.0. It's running great now and I fell in love with a pick-up yesterday. But anyways, with the work and such that's done to it I'm going to start at 5,000 and I'm hoping to get 4,500 out of it (the colorado market for 5.0s is pretty high). Do you think that the price is right?

RE: Selling the 5.0
1983 C-10 Stepside, modded 350, 3 spd manual transmission, 12 inch lift, straight piped, edlebrock carb and intake, some chrome goodies, engine is fully dressed, needs some interior work, no rust and it will need paint (currently a really glossy black) in the future, all emmisions stuff is removed, huge mud tires (not sure what size). I'm going to paint it and put some 2 chambers on it, I'm also going to sell my 1976 F-150, I'll have a large sum of money after all this to put into the ol' bowtie truck, I guess I'll stick around here, maybe I'll buy another 5.0.

RE: Selling the 5.0
Oh wow, my door jambs aren't painted the current color, 500 bucks can fix that. I've had many offers from 4000-5000 bucks on it in the past, so tell me, are you just pissed off or do you think that I'm honestly making a mistake either way you are wrong. Like I said, the colorado market for 5.0s is big. It's hard to find a 5.0 that runs as good as mine nowadays anyways. Anyways, I went and took a closer look at the pick up, it has no flywheel cover, it's dripping tranny fluid right at the tailshaft, and I decided to wait, but 5.0 is still up for sale. I'm about to get a job so maybe I'll keep it and paint it and put some gears in it and see where that gets me. If the gears don't impress me it's going and I'm gettin a 4x4. Or I'll sell it and put the money into my 1976 F150 .

honestly man, no pun intended but i sure wouldnt pay 4k to 5k for a stock fox either it be a vert or whatever. good if the market is that high up there best of luck but i personally wouldnt get rid of it for a pickup truck, now maybe a truck but not a pickup hoppie
