Default 5 Speed Question?

I'm installing it in a 68 mustang! Not sure what standard transmission would bolt up to that year 302? I have always dealt with automatics! KJ

T-5 will work in a vintage Mustang. You'll have the usual header fitment issues that seam to crop up in any swap.

Default 5 Speed Question?

What year model T5 transmission would you say was the best one out of them?

any 84-93 will work with the bellhousing of such, you'll have to buy the t-5 conversion kit sold at places like cj pony parts ect ect, I had to get a special crossmember and driveshaft, if your car is already a stick model and has the clutch pedals in it, you'll need to buy the kit to make the mod to the clutch pedal for the cable to attach.....my 66 was already a stick car and had a 74 block which had the screw in stud in the side of the block to allow me toretain the use of the z bar for oem clutch pedal action, allm I had to do was make a mod on the bellhousing to use the clutch fork off the 66
