Trans problems please help!

I have a 1993 Mustang GT automatic trans and it won't shift into 2nd at all. It goes into 1st,3rd and OD just fine. Please help!

sounds like an internal problem, it has to come apart to perform air tests for internal leaks and inspect valve body for broken/sticking springs and valves. no easy fix there

Welcome to the forum.

Just to clarify, from a dead stop, it'll accelerate thru 1st gear, then shift to 3rd, skipping 2nd all together?

Any slipping at all in any gear ?
