The trick flow top end kit youre refeering to is heads, intake and cam right? should give you about 350 horses on a stock 5.0. You shouldnt need to recalibrate your computer at all. A chip might help you though, although its not needed. A dyno tune is whenre you take your car and out it on a dynamometer and it reads how much horsepower is getting through your drivetrain to your rear wheels. referred to as RWHP. a stock 5.0 stick gets around 185 RWHP, 215 Flywheel hp. you should seeover 300 at the wheels with that kit on there. The dyno tune may also include timing and fuel adjustment to see where you make the most hp. Run your timing up to around 13 degrees. its at 10 stock. but if you run it at 13 or even 14 degrees, make sure to run premium fuel. Otherwise is will ping and maybe knock. you will see hp from timing adjustment. sometimes even 30hp. but probably round 15 maybe 20.

oh, btw, dyno tunes can run you either by the amount of "pulls" you do, or by the hour. most of the time its 100 per hour, and sometimes, if you are making fuel and timing adjustments, it will be cheaper that way because you could rate 10 "pulls" in a hour and if you paid for a per "pull" way, you might pay over 300 dollars.

It comes with heads , cam , intake, p-rods, rockers and I am buying a set of 24lb injecters for it. Trickflow tech told me they was needed for the kit and he also said that my computer would have to be calibrated. I don't have the money for a dyno tune yet so I hope it will run good with out it. I already have a 190lb hr fuel pump ----Do you think the injecters and pump will make much of a differance?

I had the dyno place install a Superchip in mine, which went for $398, including as many pulls as needed.
It's pricey, but man what a HUGE difference. The car was really smoothed out.

The injectors and bigger pump are needed, since you are not adding an aftermarket FMU (I'm assuming).
Otherwise it would definitely be starved for fuel.
If you can, hook up a air/fuel guage atleast so you can monitor the mixture, since it won't be tuned soon afterwards.

yeah, the 94-95 eec was really touchy to mess with when installing a cam. you have to have a maf sensor calibrated for 24s. yeah you will notice a big difference with the 24s. i put 30s in mine with a 80mm mafs. Its not running perfect, think my timing is off, but it still pulls harder throughout the rpm range. check with pro-m or c&l for mas air meters for your ride. try superchips about your eec calibration. I didnt know that was required, i just knew you had to have a recalibrated mafs.
