I have a 93 5.0 with 28k actual miles(owned it since 95), it has a Vortech T-rex fuel pump and of course when you turn the key it hums briefly then stops, well now after sitting up and the battery draining when I turn the key the humming does not stop and it wont start. Could it be the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay switch? If it is the relay switch, where is it located? Appreciate the help!

Of course I fully charged up the battery. Turn the key and the fuel pump continuously hums, try to start and it turns over but it wont start. Has to be either the pump or the relay switch.

 

so put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and see if it has pressure

 

Does this car have a chip installed? Typically when the fuel pump runs continuously, its because of a loose or failed chip plugged into the PCM.
