Default 347 Crate Motors

I would like to put a 347 crate motor in my '93 notchback. Does anyone have information on where I could purchase one? I might be supercharging it so any info is appreciated. Thanks.

I only know that the rumour at the track is that "Probe" brand pistons are kinda defective or might have problems....Coast High Performance sell their motors with those pistons...so....try keith craft, or wynnespeed.com

you could also build your own. i want to do that. trick flow sells a 347 crank. you can get the trick flow pistons to go with the trick flow heads and not buy pistons with the kit that you wont use. then you can buy some Eagle rods and get all the other little stuff to finish the buildup. everything is a www.summitracing.com

If you want your engine to live longer-as I heard- go for a 331 kit. Unless you have a strong block like FRPP 302R. If you're gonna supercharge it, 24cc dished pistons will give you 7.8:1 CR with 64cc heads using 331 stroker crank.

I bought the FPS 347 kit. I've had it in the car for about two years now. Been very happy with it.
