use the stock plugs, you will be dissapointed if you buy colder ones.
I tried only 1 step colder with a 125 shot and it felt like it was slower than the 75 shot with the stock plugs.

on engine, with the colder plugs it was like it was only running on 4 cylinders.
if you buy colder plugs you will be pissed because you wasted money on parts that make your car slow.

youre the only person ive ever heard that from. cold plugs makes sure youre car doesnt denotate and you can run alittle more juice and timing with colder plugs. again its all in how you tune the setup. personally cold plugs is the way to go and you running slower had to be in the tuning or the fuel system. i also know that a 75 shot i gained 10mph and 1.2 seconds over NA

I ran the same timing with the colder plugs, thats probably why it ran like me. (slow)
ha

I got around the same gains with my 100 shot.
n/a 14.7@94
100 shot 13.2@107
what was your timing at?

I know my fuel was good enough.

this was in the truck.... NA was 14.6 at 94 mph
75 shot was 13.38 at 104mph

it was a zex dry shot. timing actually was higher then it needed to be and got some denotation with stock oem plugs. timing was advance using a hypertech since i dont have a Dist on the truck. i have 8 serpeate coil packs. also i ran 115 octane leaded that day which didnt mix to well with 93 at first. at the end of the night thats when i got my best run i had the least amount of denotation. i had to let off the juice at the 1000'mark cause of the pining i had occured. so truck had more in it with just hte 75 shot

buddy of mne runs a 100 shot on his stang with autolite 2 colder range plugs, 110 octane, 10* timing and he gained 12mph and 1.4 seconds on his 92 lx. went from a 14.2 at 97mph to 12.8 at 109 on street tires

I bet it had a little to do with the 110 octane gas.
damn, he could have run stock plugs, and been quicker.
I still know from expierence that colder plugs made me slower with and without the spray.
even on 92 octane gas.

he wouldnt of went faster with stock plugs. that much timing and juice along with fuel. that was what he needed. i dont recomend stock plugs with a decent shot. on a 100 shot or higher run colder plugs, its just a safety feature. and arent you the one that had motor issues cause of you juice?

no, the juice had nothing to do with it, I over revved a couple of times, and my motor was just worn out.265000kms.
there was almost enough room for the piston ring to slide past the piston.
lots of piston "slap"
