This car is a street driven project not nearly needing a 10K ivestment. I build my own engines, transmissions, and rear ends. I run a 427 FE Fairlane that I built and am not a novice at this. I am merely asking for some good pointers on the fuel injection parts I will be needing for this engine.
Thanks
Mike

Ahhh, now I see....

The stock fuel injection does a pretty good job of adapting to mods. Heads, cam, intake etc. It won't get every last hp out of a combo like a dyno tune will. But it'll keep you close with good driveability, as long as the rest of the motor (vacuum lines, sensors, tune up items, etc) are maintained and in good shape.

If your wondering what parts to get, I'd first start by using the search feature on this forum. Start reading older threads on other builds, you'll find tips and tricks on what worked well and what didn't.

You'll be reading for days....

Otherwise, the parts MJR suggested are know to be the best available now.

here , this build fits "you" find a used "B" CAM.........get some gt-40 heads, they are some of the greatest heads out there and deliver a massive bang for the buck, go to the junk yard and find an explorer intake and keep the 19 lb injectors, they'll be plenty and provide more torque multiplication for the motor, put all that top end parts on the 331 you intend to build and get a good 75 mm tb and BBK CAI and this combo will not disappoint.......no need for a tune the ecm has adaptive strategy and it'll compensate and it'll run like a dream. search for all parts on ebay or craigs list, if you source the parts right 500-700 you'll have in the hard parts and with little investment you'll be able to thumb your nose at the 10k build guys when you make them eat your dust with the above killer combo.

Thank you Mjr, That is what I was looking for. I all ready have a new set of Aluminum heads that I want to use rather that the GT-40 ones. The aluminum are AFR and came with valves, springs, seals, retainers. The GT-40s I have would need to go into machining and have all those items redone.
