Default 1982 Mustang 5 lug conversion

Hey again....im looking to do a 5 lug conversion on my 82 GT..Ive been told that I have to replace the spindles in the front to make this work? also how can I tell if I have a 28 or 31 spline rear axle...? I have replaced the rear end with a ford racing 8.8 solid unit...

Thanks

What brakes are you running up front now? And what are your plans to do the 5 lug swap? Just 5 lug rotors? If you are still stock up front you'll need at least 87+ spindles and struts. The four eye foxes had smaller rotors and therefore caliper mounting points that don't clear even 11 inch brakes.
As for the rear the best but most annoying way is to pull a shaft and count.
