Default Lower Intake Gasket Question

Hey all,

I'm looking for people's opinions on the best way to install the lower intake gaskets on top of the heads without causing them to move around when putting on the lower intake or so that there will be no vacuum leaks when finished. Tell me what worked best for you and I know there will probably be a couple different opinions on this. Use RTV? If so in what spots. Use weather adhesive on the gaskets to prevent them from moving? Or a form of fast drying adhesive?

put a piece of threaded rod in the bolt holes and drop the intake straight down...rtv around the waterports and rtv instead of the cork gaskets on the ends of the intake

I always use a couple studs on each side.

I used some blue permatex stuff from advance that is a fuel resistant rtv. Comes in a white/gray and orange package. Put that on both sides of the gaskets and then did what the other guys said. I also torqued them multiple times then ran car until it got up to temp. I then pulled upper intake off and retorqued the bolts while the engine was still hot. They moved a little. Haven't leaked yet.
