Default 1984 mustang convertible convertible ????

i just purchased a 1984 mustang convertible with the 3.8 efi high performance. from what i can tell, the vehicle was factory red. interior is in great condition. not a single tear. body is solid with little to no rust. needs a paint job. it had a blown head gasket or both. me telling you about the car here really does it no justice. I'm honestly new to ford so I really dont know what ive got. the floors are really solid along with the floor pans..... anyways, i bought the car for $400 with a clear title. can anyone tell me how much i can get out of this being fully restored. i do my own engine work and i paint cars so i don't have to worry about that. any help is appreciated.

Maybe more; really depends on overall condition. Clear title, clean accident report, open the door & don't see rust in the hinge area, everything works, etcetera.

Tough to say, just going by your description. It seems clean, stock Fox's have been slowly climbing in value. But not anywhere near collector status. Just to many were made and still out there

If you like the car, stick alittle money in it and drive it awhile. Then decide on the future of it. That's what I did ........ 9 years ago lol. Still drive it daily in the summer.
