Default 95 GT AODE EPC Harness Question

Hi All,

Newbie here.

Hope you all had a great holiday season.

I have a '95 GT with the AODE trans.
I need to replace the EPC connector and wiring harness due to a 652 dtc. The main connector is soaked with trans fluid which I believe shorted the harness. When I put the car in 1st or 2nd gear, the car just dies. Also has drivability issues in drive. I may be wrong but I believe the main connector can be bought separately and spliced into the harness?
The p/n for the connector and harness is F2VY-7G276-A.

My question is, how do I pull the main connector of the wiring harness from the body of the trans? Any and all tips are welcomed!

Thanks in advance.

Thomas

Sorry I can't help as I'm not that familiar with the SN cars, but hopefully someone will chime in here soon to help out.

Welcome to the forum.

You're better off just buying a whole replacement internal harness for the trans. Rockauto.com has them in stock.

The bulkhead connector pushes into the trans, and comes out through the pan. IIRC, the valve body needs to be removed.
