Popping and RPM holding while cruising to a stop
Hello everyone!
I replaced an injector months ago and since having the entire intake off, my car has been popping like a backfire and the RPMs hold at about 2k rpms when im cruising to a stop in neutral. I believe it was a vacuum leak and I have taken the entire intake off multiple times, got new gaskets, RTV, JB welded, etc. and nothing will stop the issue im having. Ive recently been thinking its a distributor problem but im not sure. I was wondering if anybody had suggestions as to what the problem could be, like a list of possible problems. Please respond.
