Hello! I have an 84 mustang and I’ve had this reoccurring problem. I recently replaced basically the whole ignition system including distributor and plugs. It ran great for a week and now the problem is back. It fires right up and drives good under small load but if I hit the accelerator more than 20% its like nothing happens, jumps and bogs bad. Mostly original. Stock carburetor. Not sure where to start on this because most of my experience is with EFI foxes. Any help would be great.

 

Wish I could help but carbs are like witchcraft to me lol - I'd guess the jetting is off or the secondary's are kicking in to early but that's a very uneducated guess. But that car looks sweet!
