black smoke?

Default black smoke?

alrite i think i got a little problem. what does it mean when there is black smoke coming out of the exhaust

It means your running Rich...Which means your Air/Fuel ratio is out of wack and your putting in too much gas that is just wasted out the tailpipes

Like he said, too much gas or too little air. Check your fuel pressure regulator and make sure it's not broken.

i had the same problem with grey smoke coming out of my exhausts about a week ago. for me the problem was my oil was getting too thing and leaking from the pistons into the .....combustion chamber or whatever...
luckily all i had to do was change my oil.. if your piston seals are shot then ur gonna need to replace them.
not saying thats what your problem is but u can look into that.

Yeah, Grey smoke with a bluish tint indicates oil is burning.

You shouldn't get any smoke from too lean. Unless the only thing that is creating that smoke is because your engine is running too lean it is getting too hot therefore burning something else (eg. oil, coolant, etc).
