Can anyone tell me the correct firing order for my 1985 302, I can't locate block ID #s but am pretty sure itis the first year roller blocks came out. I use an MSD 6al box on stock dist. getting occasional backfire not sure what firing order i should use, tried all three I was told and all three sucked,</P>


could it be valves?</P>

could be valves, could be cam adjustment, could be ignition timing, could be spark plug gap, could be bad wires. cant help with the firing order though <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">

Thanks for the reply, not cam timing, not wires or parts must be valves but now firing order seems possible, but not sure which one to use.</P>
