Default stock 302 bore?

Is the bore of a stock 302 4.000"? I want to swap my stock 302 with a Dart IE block. The Dart is available in 4.000 or 4.125" bores. Any advice?

Thats right dude, if you want to make a 306 then you get it bored .030 and use the stock 5.009 rods. Over and if you want it stroked to a 331 you use a 3.250 Crank with 5.4 Rod to get a 347 you use a 3.400 Crank with 5.4 rods and a 4.030 bore.

i think most of the time when you buy a block it is underbored so you can make it what you want.
