I discoonected mine and there will be 2 stubs that stick outta the fire wall, I took the zip cut and cut off the stubs and filled them with spray foam and sanded them down and painted them to match the firewall... they are pretty much totally hidden now... I can send pics if you want.

Sounds like it would work to me. I guess you could also just weld a plate over the holes and grind it down smooth and then paint over that too.

I liked the look of bringing the pump up in place of the a/c is the only reason I did it.

I do like the idea of moving the power steering up to where the A/C was...that would give a little more room down by the oil filter. If you got any pics I would love to see them.

I would like to see pics if its not a pain in the butt. I removed my ac and all the accessories about a month ago and I wasnt sure what to do about the 2 holes in the firewall. I was going to take the dash out and pull them through (I'm taking out the dash soon anyway) but I just want to see how yours turned out.

I got another question for you guys...since I basically plan on going with a different engine and transmission...what if anything that is old should I keep? Should I just strip everything out of the engine bay and start fresh? This car is going to be only used for the occational weekend ride and taken to the track once in a while. I am thinking of doing a fuel cell instead of putting in a new gas tank. My plan is to have either a 331 or 347 stroker with either a supercharger or a turbo. I am removing the A/C but keeping the power steering. I need it to be able to pass NY emissions so I will need the smog pump. Any suggestions? Basically what I am thinking is if I am going with all that new stuff why reuse any of the old things that have been on the car since 1990.
