Beats the sh*t out of me. I still pass emisions but its a close call in certain spots. I burn a lot of fuel on the highway i get about 13 mpg maybe a little less even. I think I will check my O2 sensors soon but my check engine light doesnt stay on.

depends on were you live... california it notoriusly hard on emmisions but va has about the same restrictions cali and va are the hardest on cars in va you dont get a sticker... you just get a certificate ... the garage sends a pass fail to the dmv.. and they take it from there..

Since thats all that VA does you would think that it would be easy to get someone to pass you for a few bucks.

cal has a certicate as well but we get put on the dyno they check your gas cap do a visual inspection and this is every other year and every year on some cars. also the reason why some 87 5.0's have mass air was because they were the cars being shipped to california for sale this is the only way california would give them a pass on the old sniff test.

I think it was 88, though...but your point stands because Cal wanted a better way to meter fuel.

In SC they dont even have inspections i love it. Just registration, insurance and roll it down the road, I would never pass inspection or smog.
