Widest tire I can fit?
right now Im still on my GT wheels..the car is an 86 if that helps what wheels they are, I was looking for a pic but I had no luck...I was just wondering if the wheel was a 15x7 and what is the widest tire I can run on there for now? I have 225's in the rear..

i have mickey thompson drag radials on stock pony wheels, they measure out to 26 X 10 1/2 X 16
i will take a pic later, since a bunch of tire q's have been popping up.
they are a bit wide for the stock wheel, but doable, if you reverse the quads, they will fit , but no wider. reversing allows you to kep the quads, and gain about 1/2"-3/4"

so you can fit 265s on ponys; and they'll fit in the rears right?
I heard 255s are the limit on fronts...
I can't wait to get rid of these damn turbines- Better to figure this information out now

10 holes with 265x60x15 look good also 255x50x16 on ponys will fit on the rear. I have a 86GT with CORBA Rs 17x10.5 on the rear and 315x35x17. added 1/4 inch spacer and rolled the lip on the 1/4s. Cobra Rs 4-lug look good too! Good Luck!!
