Zoom clutches SUCK A$$!!!!! DON'T BUY ONE!!! They are cheap and they put out alot of heat.. So much heat that it will burn all the grease out of your throw out bearing.... Stay away from advance auto sht... I'll be gettin a king cobra clutch here pretty soon to replace that damn zoom thats in my 88gt vert.
wtf are you talking about? KC is way more cheap than a Zoom clutch, have u compared price? Zoom is about triple. were u saying zoom is an advance auto brand?!

you can get them at advance auto lol YES!! They suck.. I hate it..... I was refering to cheap as in quality... The stock clutch is nicer. This is my opinion.. I don't like em.. Everyone else in the whole world might love em... But I ain't one of em...

are you guys referring to same zoom clutch? there is stocker and the better one. maybe not comparing the same one

anyways, i'm gonna order the king cobra tomorrow. i won't have the car up and running til around the 20th though. (even if i do, i'm on crutches and can't drive it at all) but anyways, i am tearing the tranny down and rebuilding as well. i will let you know how it goes, i'm willing to try the king cobra for $150 / delivered thats a pretty good. and if i don't like it, i plan on doing a centerforce next winter anyways. along w/ a new trans.

just because you can buy them there doesnt make them a bad clutch, nor does it make them an advance auto brand. the Zoom HP is definitely not cheap quality...

I'm telling you, get the centerforce dual friction and you'll probably go through 3 or more king cobras before your done with that centerforce. It is worth the price. The king cobra is just a little better than stock.

The centerforce might be more expensive. But since I also had problems with zoom clutches, I went with a Centerforce. A Spec will also work great. I wouldn't buy "performance" parts at a auto parts store. They don't know s**t about performance. There might be a handful of guys who work there that know their stuff about going fast.

And another thing, why do you look for these parts on eBay? Is it the price?
