Well, how much are you looking to get out of the car and whats considered a low budget? Just asking because low budget to some people might be $500 and some might be $1100. Are you looking for a nice loppy cam? E-Cam? B-Cam? AFR 165's?Gt-40's? Let us know what your goals & budget is...

350-500 for cam and heads ??? IMO I would save up for some aluminum heads. If your going through all that work of replacing your heads you mind as well do it right ya know. But thats just me. BUT if you want to keep it under $500 you really dont have a choice but to port and polish the stock heads. And for a cam. A good cam is going to run you $200 dollars so I hope that your not talking 300-500 for heads and a cam. Also, try looking for used aluminum heads on ebay or on forums, etc. Most of the time you can find good deals and you can get a nice pair of heads for that price.

Are the E7TE heads good? because what i have right now are not those. I heard i can make some good power out of them if i port and polish them. is that true? and just on the cam subject. what type of cam would you suggest with the setup that i am wanting to run?

they really shouldn't have.... i have never heard that before. how exactly did they slow it down?

the e7te heads are better than what you have now, even more so if you had them ported. you can pick up a set of e7te's for like 25 bucks on ebay. they are everywhere.

you could get them straightened, install new springs, retainers, etc and bolt 'em on.

e7's like a stock cam, unless they have bigger valves or extensive porting done to them.
