Default Adding power

I just turned 16 and I got a 1994 GT. The car is entirely stock and I was wondering about some easy (cheap)ways to get more power. I don't want to sacrifice gas miliage.

Well I wouldn't say NO money but since I'm not looking for much more power I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars and want to know what would be best to spend it on.

I think you want to work on your exhaust system first, it's probably cheaper and will yield more gains for you in the start. K&n filter= like 40 bucks, thats somthing else to consider.
